• Association fees are due on the first of each month
• A late charge of 45.00 will be applied to any fee that has not been received in hand by the 15th
• Never place a payment in the treasurer's front door. It cannot be guaranteed to arrive and has been known to blow away.

 Changes to the exterior of your unit (awnings, decks or porches, windows, grounds, etc.) must be approved in advance by the Board. Additionally, structural changes to the interior of your unit shall not be made without prior approval of the Board.   

 HOA Board Meetings will be held every other month, if requested an additional board meeting may be held with the boards approval. An email notification will be sent out to the Hollybrook community when board meetings will be held. 

 If you have a complaint or a special request, email it to a board member and it will be added to the agenda, and please plan to attend. The result of each meeting (minutes) will be posted on this site following approval.

All claims MUST go through the board. 

All pets must be under an adult weight of 25 lbs. All pets (including cats) must be leashed when using the common areas. All pet "output" must be picked up immediately or owner will be subject to a $100 fine.

Studies show that over 80% of human-bear conflicts can be traced back to the bear’s first encounter with a bird feeder. Bird feeders are usually easy for bears to recognize and reach, and bird seed has lots of calories. Bird feeders are now a violation of Hollybrook's rules and regulations.  

 Our resident bears visit our garbage on a regular basis, day and night, so use your garbage disposal as much as possible instead of throwing it out. If the bears upset your trash container while dining, you must clean up after them as soon as possible.

Garbage pick-up is at approximately 7am every Thursday morning except when a holiday falls on that week. In that case, refer to the Holiday Collection Schedule Calendar: https://www.ashevillenc.gov/service/holiday-schedule-updates/
The container can be rolled out to the road by the pond anytime on Wednesday evening and picked up by Thursday evening.
There must be at least 2 feet between cans so the truck can pick them up. If they are too close together, your container may be left behind without being emptied. 

Every two weeks, the recycle truck comes on the same day as garbage day. On that morning, put out both the green garbage and blue recycle containers. Break down and flatten corrugated cardboard.

A couple times a year, when called for, the board will arrange a large-item pick up to remove items that won't fit in your trash container. Email the board at hollybrookavl@gmail.com for details on arranging a large item trash pick-up.
